First Word.........

We have designed this blog in reverse order. we request you to go top to bottom, and disregard the order of posting. we request you to go through the blog, comment on the product and participate in the poll, of which the link is provided in the right hand side on this blog.   1. Good product idea. However, you may like to find out why the alternative methods of recruitment and selection such as psychometrics, OB etc have not been successful in corporate world.

    So, from the "need" perspective whose need is it to recruit a right candidate? An organization or a interviewer( or a panel)? Since recruiter "hubris" is a dominant force in corporate world, any new method has to address that well. Otherwise, the product idea is good. You may also like to explore the market of mass recruiters such as armed forces, trainee selection for ONGC etc.etc.

  2. i found the idea very interesting , and specially the product in terms of corporate hiring. but i have a small issue. Will this product eliminate all human contact during the recruitment process , i doubt.

    apart from this reservation , i liked the idea. also another peace of info, i was browsing on net and found out that fighter pilots and other defense services uses computer simulators to test and train, which itself says high about the idea....

    Yes, even with the best techniques and best panel may be wrong in their selection, however the correct tool would minimize the error and the organization wont be saddled with frankenstiens. the cost of wrong selection would amount to one years salary.

    the age old maxim , hire for attitude and train for skills holds good in all fields.

    the objective is to accumulate adequate depth and breadth of info to make an informed judgment about each candidate's potential to advance their career and improve productivity.

It will prevent the personel biasness of the interviewer,using this tool will also prevent wrong selection and it will be the great justice to the really capable and knowledgable candidate to be get selected rather a good presenter having some luck and not much knowledge to get select
